PT-350 Processor/Transmitter

PT-350

The PT-350 Processor/Transmitter is the latest evolution in Telonics' line of remote intrusion detection equipment. The PT-350 detects infrared, magnetic or seismic events. The unit's small size and 1.5 watt RF power output make it ideal for short-term covert deployment. The PT-350 is user friendly, allowing the user to configure all field adjustable parameters via rotary and DIP type switches.

The PT-350 works with any one of the three detector types: seismic, infrared, and magnetic. The unit also supports an additional sensor input that provides a switch closure upon detection (i.e. breakwire, active infrared or pressure mat). An external camera may also be triggered by the unit.

The PT-350 is capable of transmitting messages in digital format, voice format, or both simultaneously (on different frequencies, if desired), and is compatible with all EIDS equipment, including repeaters and receivers. The digital coded message can be either the modified Manchester code or the SEIWG 005 code. Any standard VHF receiver can receive the voice messages, which can also include CTCSS sub-audible tones. By connecting a remote antenna to the PT-350, users can extend the transmission range.

The electronics are sealed in an aluminum housing with a removable battery case to facilitate ease of battery replacement. The standard power supply, 2 MN1604 batteries (standard 9V transistor batteries), provides up to 90 days of operational life. An on/off sensitivity selector switch is located outside the case; all other adjustments are made inside the battery compartment. These switches allow users to select the ID number, transmit frequencies (selectable between 2 pre-programmed frequencies), and seismic detection parameters. Using a Smart Cable and appropriate PC software, users can make frequency changes, adjust detection parameters, and select from any of the 40 standard CTCSS tones.

Telonics can sell this product only to law enforcement, military, and government agencies; these products are for use only within such agencies.

Service Commitment

Since 1970, Telonics has built a reputation based on product quality, product support, service, and customer satisfaction. Telonics strives to produce the highest quality products, and to support those products accordingly.

Because of extreme conditions and the unpredictable nature associated with most telemetry applications, problems occasionally arise. Most problems can be resolved quickly. In all cases, we hope to be able to work in partnership with users to resolve problems to the user's satisfaction and to uphold our demonstrated commitment to excellence. If problems should arise, all products must be returned to our factory for failure analysis.

Warranty

Telonics warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date acquired. Telonics does not warrant batteries.
