The result of triangulating on the reflected signals SP1 and SP2 leads to the establishment of position P2 as the suspected source of the signal. However, bearings obtained at RA3, RA4, and RA5 lead to the triangulated position P1 as the signal source. In general, the position which is believed to be the true position is the one supported by the preponderance of evidence. |
